The Galileo Open Service Signal In Space Interface Control Document (OS SIS ICD) contains the publicly available information on the Galileo Signal In Space. It is intended for use by the Galileo Open Service (OS) user community and specifies the interface between the Galileo Space Segment and the Galileo User Segment.
Issue 1 of the document was published in February 2010 and updated as revision 1 in September 2010. A new draft version of the document, issue 1, revision 2 has been published by the European Commission (EC) on 30/06/2014.

The European Commission has decided to launch this open public consultation process in order to improve and consolidate the current draft document and to ensure that any further development of the Galileo OS SIS ICD takes into account the views of GNSS key stakeholders.
The public consultation process provides stakeholders with an opportunity to improve the quality and clarity of the document and to suggest new elements to be included in future versions, e.g. inclusion of multi-GNSS products and services.
Satellite navigation receiver manufacturers, laboratories, application developers, regulatory authorities, government agencies, Galileo Open Service users are invited to fill in the online questionnaire (here), September 22nd 2014 the latest.
All received contributions will be published on the website of DG Enterprise as well as a summary report with an overview of the received contributions. Based on the information gathered through the public consultation, the Commission will consolidate the draft OS SIS ICD document and will publish the new version as an official release.
